- LDSinspiration.com. This my latest work, which a site built originally using a Joomla template which I had to modify. The benefit of using the template was because it came with modules and other components. All graphics have been done myself using Photoshop CS3. This site needs to have SEO friendly URLs configured as the next project.
- vivere-italian-restaurant.com – Complete designed and development this site using PHP and CSS developed in dreamweaver, XAMPP, Photoshop and Flash. This site validates for XHTML transition and thank goodness the site owner doesn't want to make his own changes. Although this site uses iframes, because the client wanted continuous sound, but I strongly advised against it for SEO reasons, but to my suprise it is doing great! I must admit I was taking no chances and made as much onsite SEO implementation as I could possible imagine. This client also received advice regarding domain names and hosting for this site and setup it all up for them. I had to advise a better SEO friendly domain name for their Italian Restaurant other than the previous one which was www.vivere-stafford.co.uk, and I managed all the redirects using 301 redirects. The hosting was cheap but perhaps it should have a UK I.P? it's on the first page for search terms "italian restaurant stafford", which is a start and there has been no off site SEO work been carried out. My next goal for this site is to use URL rewriting.
- autonetinsurance.co.uk – The main website which I developed in 2006 into full CSS from tables. The design has changed a number of times since. I also manage the IIS for this website . I love using includes for this site which makes maintainence a dream. I mean just one file for the navigation for the entire site. This site is built entirely in CSS and is database and referrer driven. The business insurance and news sections I particular like. The issue I have with this site is that it has alot of inconsistency. This is due to the many projects required and not enough staff to do them, err, just me. ASP classic with server-side validation and full CSS forms have been used in certain areas of this site. This site has been modified to be session driven to track referrals from affiliates. Session driven, meaning customer information is not sent to the database until final submission. The session also always dynamic display of page content. Autonet is on the first page of Google for many keywords for example:
- Autotrader van insurance quote engine – This is a recent contract (april 2009) with autotrader, but is also infact a branded site. I developed all the CSS front end which involves CSS expanding borders and min-height. I also initiated the dynamic branding using ASP.NET - which is triggered based on the domain name and is configured first using IIS host headers.
- experienceteachingabroad.com – Original site design and orginally built totally in PHP and full CSS. I developed this page using Dreamweaver, Photoshop and XAMPP. Javascript top banner, nice and easy to do. This page is maintained by the owner since development so any quirks you see let us just assume it's not me.
